Petzl MGO Open Auto-Locking Directional Connector (Scaffold/Rebar Hook)

The Petzl MGO OPEN is an auto-locking directional connector with a large gate opening, designed for connecting to metal structures, cables, or large diameter bars. It features a gated connection point that allows for direct attachment to lanyards (such as ABSORBICA or GRILLON) without the need for an intermediate carabiner or girth hitch. If the lanyard is damaged, the MGO OPEN can be removed and reused. Available in two sizes: the standard MGO OPEN 60 (60 mm opening) and the extra-large MGO OPEN 110 (110 mm opening) for very large structures.

• LARGE OPENING: Designed for connection to metal structures, scaffolding, and large diameter cables. Available in 60 mm (MGO OPEN 60) or 110 mm (MGO OPEN 110) versions.
• GATED CONNECTION POINT: Features a gated attachment point that allows the connector to be installed directly onto double lanyards (ABSORBICA, PROGRESS, JANE) or work positioning lanyards (GRILLON).
• REUSABLE: Because it connects via a gated pin rather than a sewn termination, the MGO OPEN can be transferred to a new lanyard if the old rope/webbing is damaged or retired.
• AUTO-LOCKING: Equipped with an ergonomic unlocking handle and automatic locking mechanism to ensure security while remaining easy to manipulate with gloves.
