- Anti-Chafe Tape is frequently placed between shrink wrap and the object being covered in order to prevent scratching or chafing.
- Anti-chafe tape is designed to be used as a buffer under shrink wrap to prevent any type of chafing where the shrink wrap may rub as on the hull of the boat on painted surfaces or on Plexiglas.
