Fired in oxidation, they are designed for artists desiring Cone 10 reduction effects without using a reduction gas kiln or firing at high temperatures. Suitable for all AMACO stoneware and porcelain clays. Apply to Cone 04 bisque, then fire to Cone 5-6. Great for layering with other AMACO Potter's Choice Flux "PCF" Glazes, AMACO Potter’s Choice "PC" Glazes, AMACO Celadon "C" Glazes, and AMACO Shino "SH" Glazes. Read labels carefully for best results, as some colors require special applications, such as uneven, thin, or multiple coats of glaze. These glazes can run; to avoid glaze running off your pieces, apply fewer or thinner coats near the base.
